Oisín in Tír na nÓgToday we will be talking all about Oisín in Tír na nÓg! Firstly I would like all children to listen to the story of Oisín in Tír na nÓg below! After you have listened to the story we would like you to: 1. Talk about the story to your parents/brothers and sisters - did you like it? 2. Sequence the story - What happened at the start, middle and end! 3. Characters - Who was in the story? Who was the best character? Were they evil or good? 4. Put yourself in their shoes...how do you think Niamh/Oisín felt? 5. Listen to the story once more! A postcard from Oisín!Imagine you're Oisín in Tír na nÓg, write a postcard to your dad Fionn back in Ireland telling him about Tír na nÓg and what it's like there! Be as creative as possible!! St. Paddy's Day Maths Subtraction! In keeping with the Irish folk of today we would like children to complete this worksheet based on their subtraction! Once the sum is finished colour the box in according to the key and you may see a surprise when you're done!! Mindful colouringLastly, we have been receiving great emails from Mams and Dads who are so proud of you all at home being so brave with everything that is going on that we have some mindful colouring in that represents exactly what you all are, little superheroes! Well done guys keep up the good work!
