NO WORK TODAY AT ALL! TAKE THE DAY OFF!! APRILS FOOLS! Just a few bits today to let everyone catch up with all the work we've given so far! 1. Reading for 10mins 2. 10@10 - episode 10 3. Come up with your best April Fools day prank! Take a picture/video and send it to Stephen or Aoife! 4. Catch up on your work from the past week! A lot of people are struggling to catch up with everything so take this time to catch up on what we've put up so far! Draw with Don!Growing up Aoife, Stephen and Roisin used to watch a artist called Son Conroy on the telly everyday who would teach us how to draw cartoon characters! We absolutely loved him and what he taught us! While everyone is off school and work he has been on youtube teaching people how to draw and has uploaded a video on how to draw a clown! We'd love to see if everyone could attempt this! Google ClassroomAoife, Stephen & Roisin have been setting up google classroom and hope to have it up and running soon! Everyone should have received their password and login, if you didn't try your spam folder or make sure you have enough space in your inbox for new messages! Otherwise send Stephen or Aoife and email and we can help!
Oisín in Tír na nÓgToday we will be talking all about Oisín in Tír na nÓg! Firstly I would like all children to listen to the story of Oisín in Tír na nÓg below! After you have listened to the story we would like you to: 1. Talk about the story to your parents/brothers and sisters - did you like it? 2. Sequence the story - What happened at the start, middle and end! 3. Characters - Who was in the story? Who was the best character? Were they evil or good? 4. Put yourself in their shoes...how do you think Niamh/Oisín felt? 5. Listen to the story once more! A postcard from Oisín!Imagine you're Oisín in Tír na nÓg, write a postcard to your dad Fionn back in Ireland telling him about Tír na nÓg and what it's like there! Be as creative as possible!! St. Paddy's Day Maths Subtraction! In keeping with the Irish folk of today we would like children to complete this worksheet based on their subtraction! Once the sum is finished colour the box in according to the key and you may see a surprise when you're done!! Mindful colouringLastly, we have been receiving great emails from Mams and Dads who are so proud of you all at home being so brave with everything that is going on that we have some mindful colouring in that represents exactly what you all are, little superheroes! Well done guys keep up the good work!

Make sure your big hand and little hand are pointed at the right number! Literacy! Listen to the story! We'd like if parents could log into this website and listen to the story being read as well today! If children could pick the character from the story 'Spoiled Brad' from 'The World's Worst Children' they liked best and draw a picture of him/her/they and write a few words on why they liked him/her/them it would be amazing! Get cracking!
